hi,

here we are, the next morocco mini raid will take place from april 17th and may 03rd 2010 not to have the same weather than in 2006.

you find on the website the video of the first morocco mini raid in 2006 and new videos from the dakar to give you the aim of this touristic rally.

the aim is not to brake the mini ( me in first) but to take pleasure with the awesome landscape and road.

in september we drive to morocco to do the recce with our mini. 2 mini enthusiast and 1 mini only for the recce during 15 days. every two days, we give you the opportunity to see a video where you can see the road and track where you drive in april.

no need maxi rally car, just a reliable mini with the spec you see on the thecnical part.

The questions were about the Cooper Story, the mini story and the mini at the Monte Carlo rally. Each team had 35 questions

-How many RSP were built?

-Which tuner and manager in Formule 1 during the sixties fit a white stripe across the bonnet of his singleseat and the mini which tuned up?

-Which engine evolution appeared in 1969 at the Belgium race on the mini?

- Give me 5 number plate of mini Ex-works?

- In which year and which grand prix appeared the first Cooper F1?

hello everybody,

we are back after 6930km across France, Spain and Morocco.

I haven't the time to write article each days because of lack of time.
no I write you article on the blog day by day and with photos.

I 'll do also PPS.

every mini come back , by road.

the weather was awful from the first day to the last day, but each team want to come back the next time. we meet people in 4X4 and they were surprised to see mini on these types of track.

we ran on the sand. I put on the blog video from my GSM. you can read them with real player. you just install a codec to read the 3GP ( video from nokia).

the next edition will be in 2 years but this time with sun.

the meeting point will be at villeneuve d'ascq next to lille at the petrol station Shell behind the supermarket Auchan at 6.00 am. the other meeting point is just after the station where you pay the tax after Arras at 6.30 am the 21th of october.

the general meeting point is at Bayonne in the south west of france ( dept 40) at the station at 7.30PM the same day.

in few, there's a new pps on the blog. it will be the Marocco rally from 1968 to 1975. with its actors, Alpine, Citroen, Lancia, but not the BMC. the photos are impressive, but today the road are easy with a good tarmac.

i found some new photos from the rally of morocco from the end of the 60's tothe beginning of 70's. it's not photos with mini, but with DS, alpine... the photos are interesting and dreamed.

pour ceux qui vont acheter une cb ou qui vont en emprunter une a un ami, prenez une cb avec une tres petite antenne que vous pourrez ranger facilement. pas la peine de prendre des cannes a peche. je vous dirai pourquoi en tant voulu, mais prenez de petites antennes de tt facon on ne sera pas eloigné les uns des autres.

For the payment, I put it to the bank the last day of the registration in septembre.

your member or friends pay by check or transfer. If it's by transfert , send me your document in first and a^piece of evidence that you send me a transfert. don't forget to tell to your bank the date of the transfert is the 10th of september. you can do a trabsfert now but with a date of the 10th of september.

I just read the article on miniworld's magazine.
I saw that it's write the budget is 730£, it's not exactly that, it's about 1000£ or 1520 € ( look at the blog) .

If we saw a sand dune on the photography of the miniworld mag, during the trip we don't cross sand dune. we will run on tarmac for 85% of the time, and 15% on dirty tracks but adapted to our mini. I don't want to break my car in first :).
for the sand dune, we will run as far as we can run with our mini to approach the dune and we will sleep there and we can see the sunset.

in the next few days, will arrived the sum up of the the "classic marocco" and the fantastic rally of morocco 1969. This rally was exceptionnally hard with only 9% of the cars at the arrived. It was an exiting rally with, jean pierre nicolas, bob neyret, jean luc therier, but no mini.

The road has changed since 1969, now most of the roads are in tarmac...

one word about the assistance. Every cars must have a contract assistance for morocco, because, if we have many parts with us to repair ( cooler, driveshaft, maybe a gearbox,....), I haven't any 4X4 or plateform.
This is a real adventure. The aim for me is to have the same number of car at the start as at the finish.

hi,

I organise an adventure in morocco just a little bit mad. the aim is to start from your country and to meet us in perpignan in south of france. then we cross spain and the best is to drive round morroco.

the organisation is to cross morocco and to visit it ( ceuta, fes, errachiddia, l'erg chebbi, ouarzazate, marrakech, casablanca, rabat). there's é or 3 stages with road book and with quiz about mini. For the other stage we run together. the goal is not to break the car. We can compare the moroccominiraid in the spirit as a the maroc classic historique or the rally monte carlo historique. We don't want to make speed heavily.
the budget is about 1500 eur per car for 2 persons for 2 weeks. The inscription is 100 eur.
The goal is to run with pleasure, make photographies. Every stage will be between 90 km and 380 km.and one day for to visit marrakech.
